If Hammer Films Had Made DUNE

I came up with this idea while watching the 2021 DUNE on Blu-ray. The timeline for this would have had to have been the early 1970s.

And yes, I'm well aware that Hammer wouldn't have had the budget to film even one chapter of Frank Herbert's novel. But the cast would have been great.

  1. Is it wrong that I can actually visualise the entire movie now with this cast? Ollie Reed, at various stages of career could have played pretty much all the male roles in this movie!

Can I suggest Madeline Smith's agent be contacted with regard to the role of Alia in the guaranteed sequel?
